For higher operating speeds and improved ruggedness against EM interference, RESOLUTE communicates using pure digital serial signals, with a variety of protocols of both ‘open’ and ‘proprietary’ types. New protocols are being added to RESOLUTE, so please contact your local Renishaw representative for the latest updates.

RESOLUTE supports the high-speed serial protocol BiSS® C, which is perfect for dynamic axes that require high acceleration, silky-smooth velocity control, excellent bi-directional repeatability and rock-solid positional stability.

ADDI-DATA

ADDI-DATA GmbH is an expanding international company based in Germany. Since 1984 the company has been developing high-tech solutions for industrial measurement and automation. The multifunction counter board APCIe-1711 by ADDI-DATA allows you to acquire the signals of 24 RESOLUTE absolute optical encoders.
